Your NZ Society committee plan a busy programme for the year.
SkyTrain ‘Pub Crawl’ - Always very popular. - August
Family Outing. – A train trip to Samut Sakorn - One weekend in September.
Christmas Party. - Not just for children. For everyone this year. A great get together. - December
The 2009 Ball. - Highlight of the Year. The best ball in Bangkok! Planning already underway. - 28th February 2009

2009 Black and White Ball
Decisions have been made, planning is well underway. The NZ Society Annual BLACK AND WHITE BALL will be held on Saturday 28th February, at the Amari Watergate Hotel. All arrangements are starting to be finalised. A great menu is planned, New Zealand wines will be on the tables, the band will be the best.
More details will be available shortly. It's not too early to start planning for your table of 10. Tickets will be limited, and are expected to sell out quickly, once released.

Present – 48 attended
1. Welcome and Apologies
2. Minutes of the last AGM were adopted
3. Treasurers Report
Treasurer Bruce Hemmingsen presented an overview of the Society’s financial position,
The 2008 NZ ball made a smaller profit.
The Christmas Party recorded a loss.
There was a function for NZ paramedic Marko Cunningham and a donation to him of Bt100 000.
The new life time family membership was introduced.
The NZ Ball – our marquee event. 550 attended.
4. Presidents Report
President Paul Hamlyn presented an overview of the year. It has been a profitable year for the society with 3 main events.

3. Web Site – New and much improved with Bruce Hemmingsen organising it and Daniel implementing
4. February - NZ Ball– Thanks to all committee members. A fantastic event. Great sponsors and thanks to Bruce Hemmingsen and his work with Emirates.
